About Red Oak Dispensary

Red Oak is a locally owned adult-use cannabis dispensary in Absecon, New Jersey, and one of the few New Jersey dispensaries where you can watch the house brand being made from the shop floor. We are open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM at 401 White Horse Pike, and more than 750 customers have rated us five stars on Google.

The building

For years this address was an empty True Value hardware store. Red Oak’s founders, who had worked in cannabis in several other states, chose it deliberately and rebuilt it into a 14,000 square foot campus: the dispensary in Suite A, the Red Oak Cannabis production facility with its cGMP ISO-8 clean room in Suite B, and the ROC n Roll Smoke Shop in Suite C. The project was part of more than $7 million in improvements to this stretch of the Pike, and it employs more than 30 people from the area.

What we believe

  • Honest dosing. Labels say what is in the product, budtenders say what it is actually like, and nobody gets talked into more than they want.
  • New Jersey grown first. Our own brand is made in Absecon, and most of the shelf comes from New Jersey cultivators and craft, small-batch producers.
  • A welcome, not a transaction. First-timers get a walk-through of the menu. Regulars get remembered. Ask for a budtender by name; our reviews are full of them.
  • Part of the town. Red Oak pays into Absecon and the state on every sale, supports local organizations and events, and plants a tree through the Arbor Day Foundation for every Red Oak Cannabis product sold.
