Lab-tested THC on these runs from about 50% (hash bricks) to the mid-80s (live resin and diamonds). Solventless live rosin costs more than hash or budder. Prices and potency change with every batch; see today’s prices on the live concentrates menu.

Rosin or resin: the short version

People ask this at the counter every day. Live rosin is made with ice, water, heat and pressure only. No solvent touches it, which is why it costs more and why hash fans chase it. Live resin uses a solvent to pull the oils out, then the solvent is purged. Both start from fresh-frozen plants, so both keep a lot of the original smell and flavor. If you want the most “straight from the plant” option, go rosin. If you want strong flavor at a lower price, live resin is the better value.

Texture is a separate question. Badder and budder are soft and easy to handle. Diamonds and sauce are for people who like to mix the crystals and the liquid themselves. Hash bricks crumble onto a bowl or into a joint.

Honest dosing for concentrates

A concentrate is several times stronger than flower. A dab the size of a grain of rice is a full serving for most people. If you usually smoke flower, start with half of that and wait before taking more. If you are new to cannabis altogether, concentrates are not the place to start: read our first-time buyer guide and ask a budtender about flower or a low-dose edible instead.

You will need the right gear. A dab rig or an electronic rig works for badder, rosin and diamonds. Applicators and hash can go on top of flower in a bowl. We stock accessories from RAW, E-Z Wider and others at the counter.

Waxy Wednesday

Buy one concentrate, get the second 50% off. Whether it combines with another discount depends on the offer, so a budtender will confirm the final price before you pay. First-time customers get 25% off, applied in store.
